About House Materials Manufacturing Program

Developing Skilled Artisans for Ethiopia's Furniture and Construction Industries

The House Materials Manufacturing program at Injibara Polytechnic College is designed to equip students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in producing high-quality furniture and building components. Our program focuses on traditional craftsmanship combined with modern manufacturing techniques to create durable, functional, and aesthetically pleasing house materials.

Students in our program benefit from hands-on training in woodworking, metal fabrication, finishing techniques, and assembly processes. They learn to create a wide range of household items including beds, chairs, tables, doors, windows, TV stands, cabinets, and other essential furniture pieces using both local and imported materials.

Graduates of our House Materials Manufacturing program are prepared for rewarding careers as furniture makers, cabinet makers, woodworking technicians, production supervisors, and entrepreneurs in the growing Ethiopian furniture industry. With the increasing demand for quality house materials in both urban and rural areas, our graduates play a crucial role in meeting the nation's housing and furnishing needs.
