The hands-on training I received at Polytechnic College gave me the confidence and skills to start my own furniture workshop. The instructors were master craftsmen who truly cared about our success.
Won gold medal prize in 2017 E.C regional skill completion held at Kombolcha. Won silver medal prize and Br 400,000.00 in 2017 E.C national skill completion held at Addis Ababa.
The Furniture Design program prepared me perfectly for the growing furniture industry. I was hired by a major furniture manufacturer before I even graduated thanks to the department's industry connections.
The comprehensive curriculum covered everything from traditional woodworking to modern CNC technology. The practical training prepared me for my current role as a production supervisor in a wood processing plant.
