Yahuvenes Berihun's remarkable achievements at the National Action Research Competitions

Two-Time National Winner

Yahuvenes Berihun is a distinguished action research practitioner and a two-time national-level winner in Ethiopia's Action Research Competition. Her research journey reflects exceptional dedication, academic rigor, and consistent excellence across all stages of the competition.

The action research contest consists of four levels—college, cluster, regional, and national—each requiring participants to achieve first place in order to advance. Yahuvenes began by securing first rank at the college level, which qualified her for the cluster competition. There, she once again earned first place and progressed to the regional level, where the competition intensified, bringing together 11–18 first-rank winners from various clusters.

Despite the high level of difficulty, she won first place at the regional level, earning the opportunity to represent her region at the national competition, known for being a "winners' competition," where only the best competitors from across the country participate.

Demonstrating outstanding analytical ability and impactful research skills, Yahuvenes won at the national level twice, achieving top recognition in both the 3rd and 4th National Action Research Competitions.

Her achievements reflect not only personal excellence but also a strong commitment to advancing educational practice through evidence-based action research.
